1. Intended Use

vets.fyi is a suite of clinical tools designed for use by licensed veterinary professionals. It includes drug dose calculation (Rx), AI-assisted visit transcription and SOAP note generation (Scribe), and patient and owner record management (Records). It is not intended for use by the general public, pet owners, or as a replacement for professional veterinary training, judgment, or consultation.

2. Not a Substitute for Clinical Judgment

The dosing recommendations, AI-generated clinical documentation, and other outputs provided by vets.fyi are reference values and drafts only. They do not account for all patient-specific factors, comorbidities, drug interactions, or clinical circumstances. All treatment decisions and clinical documentation must be reviewed and approved by a licensed veterinarian based on their professional assessment of the individual patient.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive to keep information accurate and up to date, vets.fyi makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information provided. Drug dosing guidelines change over time, and this tool may not reflect the most current recommendations. Always verify doses against current formularies and primary literature.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, vets.fyi and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or reliance on this tool, including but not limited to patient harm, adverse drug events, or professional liability claims.

5. Privacy

When used without an account, vets.fyi stores data only in your browser. Patient names, weights, and drug selections entered in Rx are never sent to our servers.

If you create an account, vets.fyi syncs your settings and clinic-level configuration (including display preferences, custom dosing targets, and saved protocols) to our servers. Users of Records have patient and owner data stored server-side. Users of Scribe have visit audio transcripts and generated SOAP notes stored server-side. This data is used solely to provide the service and is never sold or shared with third parties.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not use vets.fyi, its content, dosing data, or any part of its functionality to develop, train, or inform a competing product or service. Systematic copying, scraping, or reproduction of the tool's content, whether manually or by automated means, is strictly prohibited; this includes but is not limited to extracting drug dosing data, formulary information, or application logic for use in another product.

7. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of vets.fyi following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
